My name is Melissa Dodder, and I am your child’s Pre-K teacher for the 2016-2017 school year. My husband, daughter, and I have recently moved to the area from Madison, MS and are excited to be Canongate Cubs! Our daughter, Landon, is in kindergarten this year.
I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from Mississippi State and a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Mississippi College. I have taught kindergarten for 8 years and served my previous school district as a Literacy Specialist for 2 years.
I am thankful for the time I have with your children and will do all I can to ensure that they are in a safe learning environment while having fun and getting the most out of their Pre-K experience. Please help me by discussing school with your child daily!
